Scholarship Committee Meets with
Guidance Counselors to Discuss 2019 Scholarship Application Process
The Scholarship Committee recently hosted a luncheon with area high school guidance counselors to review the guidelines and criteria for the 2018/19 Scholarship Awards Program. The group discussed the need for additional TN Promise Mentors in addition to the application process.
Application Forms are currently available at the guidance offices of each high school. The final application deadline date is March 1, 2019. Scholarships will be awarded during the May 2019 Awards Program at the Franklin County Country Club.
The STLS was founded on the belief that the way to improve society is through education and proudly continues to raise funds to award scholarships to one student from each of the seven high schools within Coffee, Franklin, Grundy, Lincoln and Moore County.
The Southern Tennessee Ladies’ Society has awarded 64 scholarships that total $ 184,500 since its inception in 2009.
